Carl is a golf concierge that books tee times by text. Tell him when you want to play and where — he searches GolfNow, TeeOff, and calls pro shops directly, then texts you back with his honest pick and a link to book.
Why it exists
Booking a tee time should be a 30-second text, not a 15-minute scroll through a dozen filtered search results. GolfNow works fine for the courses that pay to list on it. For everything else — the munis that only take phone reservations, the courses that hold back inventory off-platform, the sold-out Saturday mornings that aren't actually sold out — you're on your own.
Carl was built to close that gap. He knows which courses are worth calling when GolfNow shows sold out, and which tee times disappear in minutes if you don't move on them.
What makes Carl different
Every other tee time platform shows you what courses choose to put on their system. Carl finds what's actually available — including the tracks that have never had a GolfNow listing. He calls pro shops directly and texts back one pick instead of 47 results sorted by price.
There's no app to download. No account to create. You text a number, Carl texts back. That's the whole thing.
Where Carl is now
Carl is in private beta, focused on the greater Boston area — 135+ public and semi-private courses within 30 miles of downtown. Waitlist is open at carl.golf.
Other markets are on the list once the beta wraps. If you're not in Boston and still want in, get on the waitlist. You'll be first to know when coverage expands.
