Public access needs a date attached

Boulders’ current official page offers a guest tee-time link for public and resort visitors. It lists maintenance periods and says daily course rotation resumes December 17, 2026, with one course available to guests per day.

That makes a permanent “North private, South public” shortcut unreliable for planning this season. Ask which course is in the guest engine for your date, then keep that exact course on the confirmation. A member reservation link is a separate channel.

Read the maintenance schedule alongside the booking

The published 2026 overseeding schedule closes South September 14–October 11 and North October 12–November 1. The other course is shared during those periods. Those notices explain the planned access; the current public offer confirms what you can reserve.

For a trip built around a particular layout, check before choosing nonrefundable arrangements elsewhere. If either course works for the group, say that up front, then choose the start that fits the day. Do not let a generic venue name turn into an unwanted layout substitution.

Compare the final charge, not just the green fee

Boulders says local sales tax and a reclaimed-water surcharge are added to green fees at check-in. Save the offer and read those terms before comparing it with a course that displays a different fee basis.

A shared Google facility rating belongs to the venue, not two independently reviewed courses. Course-specific publication recognition is labeled separately. Follow each source if a particular layout or a recent maintenance period matters to you.

What to send Carl

Name North or South, the day and the number of golfers. If you can switch layouts, say so. Carl can explain the supported booking coverage and send the official public link; only a current sheet or the operator can establish an opening.

The arrival address is in Carefree. Keep it with the reservation, and allow for the practical parts of getting ready to play. We have used the operator’s published information here; this guide is not a first-hand review of either course.
