Tee Time Booking Windows at Boston Golf Courses: The 2026 Cheat Sheet

Start with your booking class

The public window, season-pass window and paid advance window are different. Check the class you qualify for and the release hour before setting a reminder. A resident green fee does not automatically give you the longest reservation window.

George Wright

Permit holders book five days ahead and the public four days ahead, both at 7am. For Saturday, that means Monday for permit holders and Tuesday for the public; Sunday releases one day later. Cancel at least four hours ahead.

Braintree

All tee times are booked online. The sheet opens at 6pm seven days ahead. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead by telephone or in person; email does not count.

Fresh Pond

Season-pass holders book three days ahead at 7am; other players book two days ahead at 7am. A single can join an existing twosome or threesome. Residency alone does not give the earlier booking window.

Brookline Golf

Residents book ten days ahead and guests seven days ahead. Brookline Golf Course belongs to the Town of Brookline. It is separate from The Country Club, which is private.

Red Tail

Regular reservations open nine days ahead. Preferred Reservations allow earlier booking, up to 300 days out, under separate terms. Cancel at least 20 hours ahead; twilight does not guarantee 18 holes.

Pinehills

Regular online reservations open ten days ahead at midnight; same-day bookings are by phone. Limited advance weekend reservations require prepayment. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead.

Shaker Hills

Standard public reservations open seven days ahead; the free Shaker Pass gives eight days. The cancellation deadline is 24 hours. An advance booking fee is separate from the green fee.

Save the rule with the confirmation

Keep the confirmation and accepted cancellation method together. If the plan changes, act before the deadline and tell the rest of the group. A late call or a missing player does not automatically remove the charge.
