Weekday vs Weekend Golf Rates Near Boston: What Saturday Really Costs

Carl's take

A Tuesday walk and a Saturday morning ride can have very different bills. Compare the full cost, including required carts, before deciding that a course fits your budget.

Keep the round and inclusions the same

Compare the same number of holes, residency category, start time and cart choice. Friday can belong to a course’s weekday or weekend category. A cheaper walking fee is not the same purchase as a cart-and-range package.

George Wright

Boston resident walking fees for 18 holes are $46 Monday–Friday and $55 on weekends and holidays; non-residents pay $61 and $70. Carts cost extra.

Braintree

For 18 holes before 3pm, Braintree residents pay $42 Monday–Thursday or $52 Friday–Sunday; non-residents pay $57 or $68. After 4:30pm, the published green fee is $26 Monday–Thursday or $28 Friday–Sunday. Cart fees are separate.

Juniper Hill

Walking 18 costs $54 Monday–Friday or $59 on weekends and holidays; nine holes costs $33 or $36. An 18-hole cart is $26 per rider. The weekend morning mandatory-cart rule applies April 25–September 27, 2026, before 1:05pm, not throughout the year.

Pinehills

From May 2 through October 18, 2026, either Pinehills course costs $140 Monday–Thursday or $175 Friday–Sunday. After 2:30pm, those rates are $100 and $115. A cart and range balls are included. Spring and late-autumn rates differ; check the date-specific rate card.

Granite Links

Public 18-hole fees are $165 Monday–Thursday and $180 Friday–Sunday. Saturday and Sunday after 3pm cost $165; twilight after 5pm is $90. The required GPS cart and a range bucket are included. Twilight does not promise a completed 18.

Save the rule with the confirmation

Keep the confirmation and accepted cancellation method together. If the plan changes, act before the deadline and tell the rest of the group. A late call or a missing player does not automatically remove the charge.
