Wigwam Gold, Red or Blue: course choice, overseeding and public tee times

Carl's take

Wigwam’s official public page offers three 18-hole choices: Gold, Red and Blue. Its booking engine lets you select the layout. A useful comparison keeps the same date, group size and course name together.

Book a course name, not just Wigwam

Wigwam’s official public page offers three 18-hole choices: Gold, Red and Blue. Its booking engine lets you select the layout. A useful comparison keeps the same date, group size and course name together.

Gold’s official page gives a par of 72 and a longest-tee length of 7,345 yards. That figure describes one set of tees, not the distance every golfer has to play. Open the scorecard before deciding what suits the group.

October access is different for each layout

The operator’s 2026 schedule closes Red September 21–October 11, Gold October 5–25 and Blue October 19–November 8. It also lists cart-path-only periods after the respective reopenings.

A trip can overlap a reopening without giving you the cart freedom you expected. Read the specific course notice for the date you want. If the group has mobility needs, discuss the current arrangement with the operator before committing to the reservation.

Use the current public engine

The club’s official tee-time page embeds the public booking system and has an option to open it in a separate window. Use that current path, especially when a search result points to an old engine or an expired promotion.

Compare the fee on the chosen offer, then read cart, payment and cancellation terms. A resort stay and a course tee time are separate purchases unless your actual package says otherwise. No rating or guide entry holds a start for you.

How the three guides use ratings

Google has a shared Wigwam golf facility listing. Its score appears with the same source and review count on the relevant layout guides. It is a venue opinion, not three independent course ratings.

Publication selections stay separate from those community stars. Gold’s expert recognition does not automatically transfer to Red or Blue. Choose the layout by its own scorecard, date and access, using the rating as another piece of information rather than the entire decision.

Frequently asked questions

Does Wigwam have three separate courses?

Yes. The official public booking page lists Gold, Red and Blue as three 18-hole layouts.

Does reopening end cart-path-only restrictions?

Not necessarily. The operator publishes separate post-overseeding cart-path-only periods. Check the named layout and date.
