A Melrose round with separate categories
Mount Hood's resident and non-resident fees make it a useful course to compare for a north-of-Boston group. It is a hilly outing, so discuss the walking or cart choice with anyone who needs a gentler day.
The Friday-through-Sunday morning rule requires 18 holes. If the plan is a quick nine, choose an eligible later time rather than hoping to shorten a morning reservation.
The published price
For 2026, an 18-hole walk is $46 for Melrose residents or $54 for non-residents Monday–Thursday; Friday–Sunday and holiday fees are $55 or $64. An 18-hole cart adds $26 per rider. Eighteen-hole play is required before 1pm Friday–Sunday and holidays.
