Scottsdale tee-time booking windows: public and card rates differ

Carl's take

A course can let visitors book months ahead and restrict a discounted rate to a shorter window. Set the reminder for the product you can buy.

A giant old flip calendar with several blank pages curling into golf fairways. Tiny brass tee and vintage wind-up clock. Surreal analogue studio still life, cobalt blue and terra cotta, hand painted details.

An advance window belongs to a rate class

“Book 90 days ahead” can be true without applying to every offer. Ask which rate opens then: public, resident, pass-holder or package. The same course can have several answers.

For a visitor, use the general public window to plan the trip. If you have a card, compare the benefits against the risk that the discounted window opens too late to fit a fixed itinerary.

We-Ko-Pa and Longbow publish useful distinctions

We-Ko-Pa lists general reservations up to 90 days ahead and an Arizona ID rate with a seven-day window. Eligible identification is required. Do not treat the shorter discounted window as a public rate for every visitor.

Longbow lists 90 days for 18 holes and seven days for morning nine-hole starts. At that venue, the round’s length changes the reservation window too.

The booking channel can change the window

Augusta Ranch publishes up to 30 days online versus seven days by phone or in person. An answer about “the course’s window” would miss the channel difference.

Use the operator’s current link. Several Arizona courses now send visitors to a different engine than an older article or app bookmark. The official site is the starting point for identifying the current public path.

A reminder is only the beginning

Save the release day, the local timezone and the relevant player class. When the sheet opens, confirm the course, group and total before paying. A calendar alert cannot establish inventory or eligibility.

Carl checks supported sheets when asked. He does not continuously monitor a sold-out course or automatically make the reservation. For an unsupported engine, use the direct link in the course guide.
