Ask about the clubs while the round is still optional
Before booking for someone traveling without a bag, check whether the course has the right handedness and an appropriate set. Ask whether sets can be reserved or are allocated at check-in.
That answer can decide the course. It is much easier to choose another venue now than to solve a missing left-handed set after the rest of the group has paid.
Operators publish different arrangements
Talking Stick lists rental sets as first come, first served and says it does not reserve them in advance. We-Ko-Pa and Longbow also publish rental offerings. Use each operator’s current page for the fee and inclusions.
A fee can include balls or other items, or exclude tax. Compare the actual package rather than adding one remembered rental price to every round on the trip.

One set per round may add up
For several rounds, compare on-course rentals with bringing clubs or arranging a separate rental. Count all transport, baggage and rental costs before calling one option cheaper.
If the group shares a rental vehicle, check space for the bags as well as passengers. Confirm where the clubs must be returned and whether an early departure changes that plan.
Keep the confirmation complete
Save the tee-time confirmation and any separate rental confirmation. Share the handedness and arrival time with the operator if requested. Carl’s booking link concerns the round; it does not secure a set from a rental inventory.
