Phoenix & Scottsdale golf guides
A discounted start is not a promise of 18 holes
Before buying a late start, decide whether the group wants a complete round or simply time on the course. A twilight offer can be fine for the second choice and frustrating for the first.
Check the local sunset for your date and ask about expected pace and cart return. Do not reuse a summer sunset from an old trip plan for a winter booking.
The clocks need their own check
Phoenix course times use America/Phoenix. Boston and Arizona do not keep the same daylight-saving schedule. Read the tee time as local to the course, then convert it for the person organizing from home.
Carl’s Arizona adapters now return local Arizona tee times. A noon result should mean noon at the course, not noon in Massachusetts. Your confirmation is the final reference.

Consider a shorter product
If the usable window is narrow, a standalone municipal nine can be a better purchase than an optimistic full round. Aguila 9, Encanto 9 and Palo Verde have separate short-course sheets.
Night golf is also a separate product. Rolling Hills’ operator handles its evening reservations; a normal course’s twilight fee does not imply play under lights.
Put the finish requirement in the request
Tell Carl the earliest start, group size and whether finishing all 18 is essential. You still need to assess pace and daylight with the course. He can find available starts, not guarantee how fast everyone plays.
